Two recent MGS bathrooms in Broward

Bathroom remodel in Miramar (completed September 2025). This was a small bathroom, roughly 40 to 50 square feet, with an old tub behind sliding glass doors. We stripped it out, coated the shower walls and floor in a liquid waterproofing membrane, and set a linear drain. Then we framed a recessed niche into the wall and tiled the shower floor to ceiling in large-format marble-look porcelain.

Bathroom remodel in Tamarac (completed November 2025). The original yellow tub and shower came out, back to the block wall. We ran new copper supply lines and valves and pressure-checked them before closing up. The new shower has marble-look tile floor to ceiling, a frameless sliding glass door, a rainfall head with a handheld sprayer, and a built-in niche.

Both were estimated at two to three weeks on site, and both homeowners financed through our program. More on our projects page.

A small bathroom, done quickly in Hollywood

A small bathroom is usually the quickest kind of remodel, especially if the toilet, vanity and shower stay where they are. What makes a job drag on is usually decisions left open after work starts, such as tile that isn't chosen or fixtures that aren't ordered.

To keep a small bathroom moving:

  1. Keep the layout if you can. Moving the toilet or drain adds plumbing work.
  2. Pick your tile and fixtures before work starts.
  3. Ask for a written schedule that shows the order of work and the time on site.

Your MGS rep will give you a schedule for your own bathroom at the consultation.

What to compare between bathroom quotes

Give every company the same description of the job, then ask each one for an itemized written quote:

ItemWhat to check
DemolitionWhat comes out, down to which layer
WaterproofingHow the shower walls and floor are sealed
PlumbingSupply lines, valves, drain, and any relocation
TileAreas, product allowance, height
Shower glassPanel or door type
Vanity and fixturesWhat is included and what you supply
PermitsWho pulls them and who schedules inspections
ScheduleTime on site and the order of work
ExclusionsAnything not included

The lowest total is often the smallest scope. Waterproofing and plumbing are the lines most often left vague, and they decide how long the bathroom lasts.

Condos in Fort Lauderdale

If your bathroom is in a condo, get the association's rules on work hours, elevator bookings, parking and debris before the job is scheduled. Bring them to the consultation so the quote and schedule reflect them.
