A dated kitchen behind lime-green walls
The original kitchen had white flat-panel cabinets, a speckled laminate counter and backsplash, and lime-green walls. Once the cabinets came off, the walls behind them were opened to the studs.

How it ended

The finished room keeps its U shape and the window over the sink. Everything else is new: grey shaker cabinets on every wall, white counters and backsplash, and a matching stainless suite. The green walls are gone along with the laminate.
